EIGHT - ANOTHER STUDENTS BLOG
After looking around our Class-Blog and reading through the blogs of my classmates, I decided to have a closer look on Raphaels Blog. (https://raphaelreadswwl.blogspot.com/) Here are my thoughts on his posts and ideas:
1. Original ideas and convincing thoughts in the posts:
When coming up with his own ideas and thoughts to a topic, Raphael often has similar ideas to other classmates, but eventually includes his own train of thoughts too. He doesn't seem to copy anything or have any misleading or not relateable views on the topics. His reasonings and interpretations are also very plausible, leaving me with a new impression on every seperate topic and post.
2. My favourite post:
My favourite post on Raphaels blog so far is the "A Fire" one. I especially like the language and the structure of the post, wich make the post seem even more lika a newspaper-article. The post is good readable because of the post just being the perfect lenght.
3. Overall structure and layout:
The layout of the whole blog is pretty plain and a bit confusing, wich isn't necessarily bad, but I think I would like to see a bit more organized overview, like showing only small parts of the individual posts and then revealing the full blog when you actually click on it. I like how the colors of the blog are matching and the font of the headlines resembles the simple style of the overall blog. The pictures choosen are also linked with the topics of each post, wich makes a harmonizing view to look at, not throwing one off when reading a post.
4. Language
His language and grammar in his posts are pretty good and I like how he often uses quotes to better demonstrate his thoughts and strengthen his arguments. There aren't any mistakes on the first look and the sentence structure is also easily understandable and clear. I would also like to mention the diversity of his words and how there isn't really a word or phrase that is used multiple times, causing a disturbance when reading.
